Mark Bullard is the Vice President of Case Design at Nease, Lagana, Eden & Culley and has been with the firm since 2015. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mark is responsible for designing creative insurance solutions for our clients with an emphasis on estate planning and income tax minimization.
Mark has extensive experience working with family groups to meet their estate planning goals. He has helped with charitable giving through private foundations and charitable remainder trusts, lifetime transfers using family limited partnerships and family LLCs, and trust planning with Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts (GRATs), Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs) and spousal access trusts. Mark is also experienced in consulting with closely-held businesses on split dollar arrangements, executive compensation and buy-sell agreements. His tax background provides a unique perspective on creative planning with life insurance.
Prior to joining the firm, Mark had 10 years of experience in tax and estate planning with the regional public accounting firm of Frazier & Deeter, LLC. There he specialized in working with multi-generation family groups and family offices, high net-worth individuals, trusts and closely-held businesses to help minimize income and estate tax.
Mark received his BBA in Accounting and Master of Taxation from Georgia State University and is currently working on his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation through The American College. He is a registered representative of M Holdings Securities, Inc.
